Ritchey Never Fades™ Large Pre-Numbered Cattle Ear Tags give your customers a ready-to-use permanent identification option without the need to custom engrave their tags.
Tags are sold in sets of consecutive numbers. Simply select the number range (such as 1–25 or 26–50) and tag color.
Unlike traditional livestock tags that rely on ink, foil, or surface printing, Ritchey identification is permanently engraved into the tag—not printed onto it. The result is identification proven readable for 15+ years.
Large Never Fades™ tags are designed for mature beef and dairy cattle where visibility and long-term identification matter most. Recommend them for replacement heifers, cows, bulls, breeding stock, and other animals your customers expect to keep in the herd for years.

Our 3D ear tag design tool isn't equipped to handle images ... yet. But we can definitely permanently engrave your family's cattle brand on your tag. Simply email us at sales@ritcheytags.com or call us at 1-800-EAR-TAGS so we can help you out. We have a fulltime graphic artist to ensure your brand is correctly drawn and you're happy with how the tag will look.
We offer numerous different color combinations for your ear tags. Since 1964, yellow/black has been our best seller by far followed by white/black, red/white, and black/white.
Shipping
Production lead times are currently running 3-5 business days for blank tags and less than 4 weeks for custom engraved tags. Once a tag is ready, the amount of time to deliver the tags depends on where you are. Domestic orders will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
